A Total Cabin is built from 44mm pressure-treated timber with a 50mm Kingspan insulated warm roof and aluminium tilt-and-turn windows. It is the nearest we come to a year-round room, but we make no claim about the temperature it holds. Plan heating and any extra lining with a qualified installer.
Sleeping in a garden building changes things. A building used as a bedroom or as separate living accommodation is treated differently from an ordinary outbuilding, and building regulations can apply. Check with your council before you order, not after.
Cabins come without electrics, plumbing or a bathroom. Power, heating, plumbing and drainage should be designed and fitted by qualified trades, and smoke and carbon monoxide alarms matter in anywhere people sleep.

Choose by how many people it should hold and what else goes in it. Cabin layouts are fixed, with the windows and double doors in set positions. Every cabin needs a solid, level base prepared in advance, and groundworks are not included.
Sizes are the ordered nominal sizes; the real external size differs a little and is shown on each product and in the Build Studio.

No. A cabin is supplied without electrics, plumbing or heating. Those must be designed and fitted by qualified trades.
Yes. It is designed for self-assembly, with instructions in the packaging, or you can arrange paid installation with us. A prepared base is needed either way.
