At Total Sheds, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund & Returns Policy outlines the conditions under which you may return products and receive refunds.
Pre-production cancellation. You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of placing it, provided that: the product has not entered the manufacturing process; the product has not been dispatched; and the product is not a custom-configured item. To cancel your order, please contact us immediately at 0121 740 0132 or info@totalsheds.co.uk with your order number.
Made-to-order products. Custom-configured and made-to-order products cannot be cancelled once production has begun. This typically occurs within 24–48 hours of order confirmation.
Return period. You may return products within 30 days of delivery if: the product is faulty or defective; the product does not match the description; the product was damaged during delivery; or you received the wrong product.
Return conditions. To be eligible for a return, products must: be in their original condition; be in their original packaging where possible; not have been assembled or installed; and include all original components and documentation.
Return process. To initiate a return: contact our customer service team within the return period; provide your order number and reason for return; include photographs of any damage or defects; and await confirmation and return instructions.
Return shipping. For faulty or incorrect products, we will arrange and cover the cost of return collection. For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs. Custom products are not eligible for return unless faulty.
Processing time. Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 14 working days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Refund amount. Faulty or incorrect products receive a full refund including original delivery charges. Change-of-mind returns are refunded the product cost only (delivery charges are not refunded).
Partial refunds may be offered for: products returned without original packaging; products showing signs of use beyond inspection; products missing components (refund reduced by replacement cost); or products damaged after delivery (excluding transit damage).
Inspection on delivery. Please inspect your delivery immediately upon receipt. If you notice any damage: note the damage on the delivery receipt; take photographs of the damage and packaging; and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Manufacturing defects. If you discover a manufacturing defect after assembly: contact us immediately with photographs and details of the defect and when it was discovered. We will arrange for inspection or replacement of affected components.
Products covered by warranty should be reported under warranty terms rather than as returns. Please refer to our warranty documentation or contact us for warranty claims. Warranty does not cover: normal wear and tear; damage from misuse or neglect; failure to maintain the product according to care instructions; or damage from extreme weather conditions.
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product for a different size, colour, or model: return the original product for a refund, then place a new order for the desired product. For faulty products, we may offer replacement parts rather than requiring a full return where appropriate.
