The written warranty
Every timber building we make is guaranteed against rot for 15 years — cladding, framing and flooring. Composite cladding carries a 30-year manufacturer warranty. This page is the whole promise, in plain English — the same one written into our terms.
Cladding, framing and flooring, guaranteed against rot for 15 years. We can put that in writing because the framing timber is tanalised — preservative driven deep into the cells under pressure before we cut a single joint, not brushed on at the end.
How tanalising worksThe composite cladding is warranted against rot and decay for 30 years by its manufacturer, and the tanalised timber framing underneath carries our own 15-year anti-rot warranty. The same conditions and exclusions apply to both.
Browse composite shedsWhen our team installs your building, the workmanship carries a 1-year warranty. Anything we got wrong in the build, we come back and put right.
Timber lives outdoors, so the warranty asks you to look after it. Five habits — all written into the terms, none of them hard:
Our maintenance guide walks through the lot — it amounts to an afternoon a year.
The exclusions, in plain English — the same list as Section 15 of the terms:
This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights. The full written warranty is Section 15 of our terms — this page and that section say the same thing, on purpose.
Send us your proof of purchase and clear photographs of the problem. The warranty applies to the original purchaser at the original installation address and isn't transferable. Where a fault is ours, we normally supply replacement components — faster than fussing with a whole building.
