A Total Cabin is built to a different standard to a summer house. The walls are 44mm, where a standard garden cabin is typically 19mm to 28mm, so it holds its heat and feels like a room rather than a shed with a heater in it. The timber is pressure-impregnated, meaning the treatment is forced deep into the wood rather than brushed across the surface, so it does not wash out and never needs redoing.
The roof is where most garden buildings give up: ours is 30mm insulated metal plate on a sloped deck with a 600mm overhang, which throws rainwater clear of the walls and the doorway. There is no felt to lift, nothing to re-roof, and far less condensation than a single-skin roof. A 19mm floor is included, and the windows and doors are powder-coated aluminium — they will not swell, stick or ever need painting.
Four sizes, each carrying a 25-year warranty. These are made to order and shipped in, so allow 6–8 weeks from order — delivery to the UK mainland is free.
Six to eight weeks from order. Unlike our sheds, which we build in our own West Midlands workshop and dispatch in days, Total Cabins are made to order and shipped in — so the lead time is longer and the build quality is why. Delivery to the UK mainland is free.
The cabin structure. 44mm pressure-impregnated walls under an insulated metal roof is a different specification to a standard timber building, and it is warranted for 25 years rather than the 15 years our timber sheds carry.
Yes — a 19mm floor is included in the price, not sold as an extra. So are the aluminium windows and doors, and the insulated roof plates.
Delivery is free across the UK mainland on every building, and you choose your delivery date at checkout. The Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland are quoted on request.
