Why we build with this
A shed floor takes the weight of everything you store, so we deck it in 24mm nominal tongue-and-groove board, pressure-treated exactly like the frame. The joints lock the boards into one solid surface with no gaps — and we publish the finished thickness, not just the bigger nominal number, so you know what you're standing on.

Measurements

Nominal is the sawn size before the board is planed; finished is the actual thickness you receive, once it’s planed smooth (and, on cladding, cut to its tongue-and-groove profile). Every timber mill works this way — we publish both so you know exactly what you’re getting.
The floor in every timber building is 24mm nominal pressure-treated tongue-and-groove board, finishing at around 18mm once planed and jointed. Standing it on one of our base options keeps it clear of wet ground and out of standing water.
