How the sizing works
UK councils issue wheelie bins by capacity — 240 litres is the standard, with 140L and 180L for smaller households and 360L for larger ones. Exact bin dimensions vary slightly between manufacturers, so we size each bay on a generous clearance envelope rather than one maker's measurements: your bins will fit with room to spare, whichever brand your council uses. Need the four-wheel 660L or 1100L communal sizes for flats or trade? The builder handles those too — mention the site in your enquiry.
