Bespoke garden rooms
Most garden rooms are sold with a photograph and a phone number. Here is the whole build-up, including the bit we don’t do.
We don’t insulate or board out the inside. These are garden rooms, not extensions — a proper shell, built well, that you can fit out however you want. If you need a fully lined and insulated room, say so on the enquiry and we’ll quote it as a bespoke job rather than pretend it’s a standard option.
We don’t build anything under 16ft × 10ft. Below that the job isn’t worth doing properly, so we’d rather tell you now than take the order.
The uPVC units are 2100mm tall and the eaves are 7ft, so a wall at eaves height physically can’t take one. That means glazing goes on the taller elevations — the front on a pent, the gable ends on an apex. The builder works this out for you and simply won’t offer a wall that can’t carry a unit, rather than letting you design something we can’t build.
